Beth Stewart, owner and instructor .
After a lengthy career in the Entertainment business, Beth is fulfilling her dream to return to teaching piano. Beth studied piano for 14 years under the direction of MTAC President Jan Edwards in Los Altos, CA. Beth continued her music education while at UCLA. During her performing years, Beth competed and won numerous awards at California State and National Talent Competitions. She also completed the highest level of the Music Teachers’ Association of California (MTAC) Certificate of Merit. Beth holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater, Television and Film from UCLA and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Pepperdine University.
In 2025, Beth returned to teaching piano and opened Grace Note Music Studio, named after her grandmother who was also her first musical inspiration. At Grace Note Music Studio, we understand that music is a universal language. Our goal is to ignite a love of music in every student by teaching piano with an holistic approach that builds skill, confidence, creativity, and joy.
